  2.     PRINTER QUEUE STATUS
  3.  
  4.     The following sections detail the operations of the buttons within
  5.     the Queue Status window.
  6.  
  7.     Cancel
  8.  
  9.     This button cancels (deletes) the selected print job from the
  10.     system. If the job is currently printing, the Cancel command will
  11.     remove the print request from the system. However, the printer may
  12.     keep printing until its buffer is empty.
  13.  
  14.     Enable
  15.  
  16.     The Enable button is similar to turning the printer on. It tells the
  17.     print queue administrator that the printer is now available for
  18.     printing. Any print jobs that might have been waiting in that print
  19.     queue will now begin to print.

  21.     Disable
  22.  
  23.     Disabling a printer means the printer will temporarily stop printing
  24.     but the printer queue will still accept print jobs. This command is
  25.     typically used when the printer is out of paper or will only be out
  26.     of service for a short while. When a printer is disabled, its print
  27.     queue is kept intact.

  29.     This command will stop the marked printers from receiving print
  30.     requests from the spooler. Any job currently printing will be added
  31.     back to the print queue to be reprinted once the printer is enabled.
  32.     This command does not stop users from sending print requests to this
  33.     printer; those print requests will be added to the print queue.

  35.     Note: On SUN O.S. 4.1.x, or other systems on which the Berkeley
  36.     style printing system is running, the disabling of a printer will
  37.     cause it to decline print requests until it is re-enabled. Also, all
  38.     printers on the same device are enabled/disabled even if only one is
  39.     highlighted.

  41.     Move
  42.  
  43.     If a printer breaks down or has many jobs queued, this command can
  44.     move print jobs from one printer queue to another. When you click on
  45.     the Move button, Enlighten displays a window showing a list of all
  46.     available printer destinations. Select the new printer destination
  47.     (queue).

  49.     Enlighten will then ask for confirmation to move each of the
  50.     highlighted print jobs to the other printer. If you click on the Yes
  51.     button, the print job will be moved to the selected print queue.

  53.     You can move print jobs to print queues on other hosts even if the
  54.     new destination host has a different spooling system running.
  55.  
  56.     Note: When moving a print job, you should select a new printer
  57.     destination compatible with the old printer destination. Failing to
  58.     do so may produce unexpected results.
